Personalized reading instruction using proven techniques, tailored to your child's unique learning style. Includes progress monitoring and parent communication.
Cancellation Policy
Policy Guidelines & Terms of Service Scheduling & Attendance Lateness Policy Sessions begin and end at scheduled times regardless of student arrival If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the original scheduled time After 15 minutes of waiting, the tutor may consider the session a "no-show" No-show sessions are charged at full rate Tutors will wait in the designated meeting space (online or in-person) for 15 minutes Cancellation Policy 24-hour advance notice required for all cancellations Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of session fee No-shows will be charged 100% of session fee Maximum of 2 late cancellations per month allowed; exceeding this may result in loss of regular time slot 2. Progress Monitoring & Assessment Student Progress Monthly progress reports provided to students/parents Clear learning objectives established at the start of tutoring relationship Regular assessments to track improvement Quarterly review meetings with students/parents Detailed session notes maintained and shared after each session Communication Progress concerns addressed promptly with students/parents Regular email updates on achievements and areas for improvement Open dialogue encouraged regarding teaching methods and student needs Parents/students may request progress meetings at any time 3. Payment & Refund Policy Payment Terms Payment required at the beginning of each month for scheduled sessions Accepted payment methods: [Insert your accepted payment methods] Late payment fee of 5% applies after 5 days Sessions may be suspended until payment is received Refund Policy First session serves as a trial period Full refund available if cancelled within 24 hours of first session Pro-rated refund for unused prepaid sessions if: Tutor and student agree services are not a good fit Student relocates more than 20 miles away Medical emergency prevents continuation No refunds for: Missed sessions Late cancellations Partial sessions Services already rendered 4. Trial Period & Compatibility Assessment of Fit First two sessions serve as evaluation period for both parties Factors considered: Student engagement Learning style compatibility Achievement of preliminary goals Communication effectiveness Schedule compatibility Termination of Services Either party may terminate services after trial period with written notice
